Gambling911.com resident bookmaker expert Tony Caliente breaks down the Alamo Bowl to determine if the line on this game is accurate.

This is a difficult game in which to bet as the line has shifted from Washington State -2 to Michigan State -4.5.  Obviously the books will take a hit if this one falls within the 1 to 3 point victory range.

The shift is a result of WSU missing their top two receivers for this game.  Tavares Martin Jr. and Isaiah Johnson-Mack, are no longer with the program.

Even without this loss factored into the College Football Betting Power Ratings, the line should have been a PICK'EM.  Without Martin Jr. and Johnson-Mack, MSU covering the -2.5 number should be a breeze.  Michigan State was seeing 82% of the action here and I believe the books will be taking quite the hit this evening.

This is the Spartans’ first trip to the Holiday Bowl and the Cougars’ fourth.
