Jets-Colts Spread

After opening at -3, the Jets-Colts spread had been bouncing to -2.5 at half the online sportsbooks.  Indianapolis is the home favorite here.  Spread betting action on this Wildcard Playoffs game was balanced.  New York was getting just shy of 70 percent of the money line action, which would pay out $11.50 on a $10 bet should the Jets win outright.  Nearly 90 percent of those betting the total were on the OVER 44.5.

New York already knew they were in the Playoffs last week and had little to play for Sunday but still managed to manhandle the Buffalo Bills.  The Jets relied on another team’s loss to guarantee their Wildcard Playoffs spot after they failed to take care of business with the Chicago Bears in Week 16.

The Colts tied Dallas' NFL record of nine consecutive playoff appearances, set from 1975-83, as they managed to narrowly beat the Tennessee Titans by a field goal Sunday.

Both teams have gotten lucky, relying on other clubs unraveling towards season’s end.

For the Colts, they will host a second straight championship game as the surprise No. 3 seed, thanks to Kansas City's 31-10 loss to Oakland.

"I'll wait until Tuesday to get into that [the Jets]," Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning said. "We just kind of found out what time we're playing and who we're playing and get going on them starting this week."

Gambling911.com has determined the line in this game should be Jets -1.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
