The Memorial Day weekend gets off to a great start for anyone looking to bet on baseball with a full slate of MLB games on the board. Going through the slate, the following two games set up perfectly for a winning parlay play. Make sure you check out the MLB Weekend Betting ‘Top Series Price Play’ From PlaySlots4RealMoney.com over here*Note these plays are not part of the official Gambling911.com Major League Baseball record

St. Louis Cardinals (+107) at Pittsburgh Pirates (-117)   Total Line: 9

The Cardinals dropped two out of three to Kansas City as heavy home favorites in all three games this week as part of a 4-7 slide in their last 11 games. According to the online Sportsbooks at Every1bets.com, they are 26-21 overall and three games in back of Milwaukee in the NL Central Division race. The total has stayed UNDER in their last four games. St. Louis will go with John Gant as its starter in Friday’s series opener against the Pirates. The right-hander will be making his third start of the season with a 4.67 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP through his first 17 1/3 innings pitched. He gave up three earned runs on four hits in 4 1/3 innings against Philadelphia last Saturday.

The Pirates have just one win in their last six games after losing two of three to Cincinnati on the road this week. Pittsburgh is 27-22 overall and three games back as well in the NL Central. It swept the Cardinals at home in the first series between these two division rivals in late April.  Look for Pittsburgh right-hander Joe Musgrove to get his first start of the season on Friday night. This matchup on the mound could set the stage for a high scoring game with both teams in the top half of the NL in runs scored. Even the online football betting fans are taking the OVER on the total line in the first half of this parlay.

Houston Astros (+132) at Cleveland Indians (-142)    Total Line: 8

The defending champs opened this four-game series with an 8-2 victory on Thursday as -118 road favorites. The total went OVER the eight-run closing line. Houston has gone 9-2 in its last 11 games including a 2-1 series victory against Cleveland at home last weekend. It is 33-18 overall. The Astros have Dallas Keuchel penciled in as their starter for Game 2. Accordng to thebest sports betting sites online at A-Sportbook.com. the left-hander is 3-6 this season with a 3.43 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP. He got tagged with the loss against Cleveland last Saturday after allowing four earned runs on six hits in five innings pitched. This was after he allowed a total of four earned runs over his previous three outings.

Cleveland is an even 24-24 on the year with a 5-5 record over its last 10 games according to the live wagering Sportsbooks at MLB Baseball Betting. However, it still has a game and a half lead over Minnesota in the watered-down AL Central Division race. The Indians will turn to Corey Kluber as their starter on Friday night. The right-hander is 7-2 this season through his first 10 starts with a stellar 2.36 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP.  Kluber got the win last Saturday in this same pitching matchup by holding Houston to two earned runs on six hits over seven innings pitched. I would look for another strong outing this time around to help Cleveland even this series with a win in Game 2.
