The books are hoping for a nice payday this coming head-to-head matchup between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

Woods will face Mickelson in a made-for-pay-per-view golf match with a winner-take-all $9 million purse at stake on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 (3 pm EST).  It is expected to generate some decent betting action with Woods the -205 favorite and Mickelson at +175 (pays $17.50 for every $10 bet)

This will be an 18-hole matchplay at Shadow Creek Gold Course, Las Vegas, Nevada.

There is a cost to watch, though some sports bars will likely be carrying it.

PPV: B/R Live, DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse. (Also: Comcast and Verizon)

Cost: $19.99

"It's been four years since we've been paired last on Thursday-Friday," Mickelson said at the Players in regard to the head-to-head matchup, "and I don't think we should wait for the governing bodies to put us together. I think we should just do something on our own and get after it."

Count me in, Woods said.

"I'm definitely not against that," he said. "We'll play for whatever makes him uncomfortable."
