Gambling911.com has your 2018 British Open betting odds to win after Round 1.

Though Kevin Kisner sat atop the leaderboard after Thursday's play, he was coming in at 25/1 odds.

Kisner was listed with some of the longest odds coming into this week's Open.

“If you don’t believe in yourself out here, you’re going to get run over pretty quickly,’’ Kisner said. “So I’m pretty sure everybody has a lot of self-belief, or we wouldn’t be doing it.’’

Jon Rahm was among the bigger names inching towards the top, though he was quite a few notches down.  His odds, along with Rory McIlroy, were listed at 10/1 odds.

Tiger Woods was still hovering around 20/1 odds. He faded after a somewhat strong start to score 71.

“I think it played a little on the quick side out there this afternoon," Woods said. "The balls were definitely rolling and I thought I played a pretty solid round and unfortunately I didn’t take care of both par 5s. I had 8-iron into both of them, and made par on both of those and had a little three-wiggle there on 13. So the round certainly could’ve been a little bit better.”

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
