No team has been mathematically eliminated from the playoff race, but the reality is several don’t have a chance of making it. We’ve seen separation at the top of the standings and the current odds at BookMaker.eu to win Super Bowl LIII reflect that. The Los Angeles Rams remain the favorite followed closely by the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs to win the 2019 Super Bowl. We saw an epic battle between the top favorites two weeks ago and we get another on Monday night in what could be a Super Bowl preview when the Rams and Chiefs square off in Mexico City.

A rare November blowout loss by the Patriots saw their odds take a tumble. The Pats went from +550 to +760 following a 34-10 defeat at Tennessee. That also caused a shift in the Titans odds as they improved to +6300. The defending champion Eagles also took a hit with their loss to the Cowboys on Sunday night and they are a desperate club heading into New Orleans this week.

Here’s a look at the current Super Bowl LII odds at BookMaker.eu after Week 9 of the 2018 NFL regular season.

Bouncing back with a win after suffering their first loss of the season, the Rams have shown some cracks in their defense and it has to be a concern for Sean McVay and Wade Phillips. Still, oddsmakers are favoring them. The Rams lost to the Saints a few weeks ago and get another of the favorites on the odds board in Kansas City this week. LA gave up a bunch of passing yards to Drew Brees and the Saints and they were gouged for 273 yards on the ground by Seattle last week. The teams won’t be hurt by a loss, but the outcome will affect the odds for next week.

Owners of the longest current winning streak in the NFL, the Saints continue to impress. Drew Brees just does what he does and the running back duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara are the best in the game. In an attempt to help out the depleted group of receivers, the Saints signed Dez Bryant, only to have him suffer an Achilles injury in practice before ever taking the field for a game. Undeterred, they reached an agreement with Brandon Marshall in another move to signify their willingness to win a Super Bowl title.

KC has been the class of the AFC all season, but the Chiefs can’t afford a slip up with the Chargers hot on their heels. The Bolts have won six straight and are a game back in the loss column with one more meeting in Arrowhead in Week 15. Pittsburgh has also moved up the odds list on the strength of a five-game winning streak after a sloppy start to the year.

And while those teams are getting most of the love from the oddsmakers, the Houston Texans are quietly putting together a solid season, moving to the top of the AFC South behind six wins in a row. They have a bunch of studs on defense and Deshaun Watson is starting to look like the guy who tore up the league last season before a knee injury prematurely ended his rookie season. And they have plenty of value at +3000.

The NFC is top heavy with the Rams and Saints followed by a loaded second-tier of teams. Nine clubs have between four and six wins entering Week 11 and five of them are likely to be left out of the postseason picture. And you can’t win a Super Bowl if you don’t qualify for the playoffs. Chicago has to be considered a contender after winning six games and holding down the NFC North lead past the midway point. The Bears are at +2750 on the odds list, just behind this week’s opponent Minnesota, which sits at +2250.
