Police said Barberi was the unintended target of the bullet that killed her on that snowy March 2017 day outside Serrano's business, Tenika Group, on Caster Avenue, in Woodbridge.

Two gunmen opened fire on Musitano as he walked along his driveway in May of 2017 in what police say was a “well planned” hit.  The murder occurred in a newly constructed community of Waterdown.  The other gunman is believed to be in Mexico.  Abdalla is the only individual with alleged involvement in the murder who is currently behind bars.

Musitano was the middle son of one of Ontario’s most notorious crime bosses, Dominic Musitano, who died of natural causes in 1995.
