Is PokerStars Available From California?

PokerStars is available to those in the great state of California, just not for real money.  Alternative online poker sites like Americas Cardroom do offer real money play and will be featuring a $7 million guaranteed tournament this summer (2021).

California is home to a few dozen poker rooms.  Needless-to-say, the game is extremely popular.  Folks playing in the live rooms would like nothing more than to go home and continue play on sites like Americas Cardroom or partipate in online tournaments.

Those new to the game or who would like to hone their skills can even play for free on Americas Cardroom before playing for real money.  At this time, PokerStars has no plans to offer real money online poker in the state of California.
