Gander RV Duels:  Use the Prelude to the Daytona 500 to Interest Players

Before the Daytona 500 on that Thursday, Feb. 14, drivers push on their gas pedals in the Gander RV Duels, both 1 and 2. Check out information on the Gander RV Duels.

What are the Gander RV Duels?

The Gander RV Duels are two races that take place on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14 that determine the starting line-up for the Daytona 500 on that Sunday, Feb. 17.

The Duels serve as qualifying races for the Daytona 500. They consist of two 60 laps, 150-mile races at Daytona International Speedway.

For the Daytona 500, only the two front row starters, the pole and outside pole, are determined by the standard qualifying system. Everyone else must race in one of the two Gander RV Duels to secure their starting position in the Daytona 500.

How can bookies promote interest in both Gander RV Duels?

Doesn’t sound like much, but the Duels are, technically, the two first big races of the NASCAR Season.

Although the Advanced Auto Parts Clash is the first race of the 2019 NASCAR Season, the Duels determine who starts where on Sunday in NASCAR’s most famous race, the Daytona 500.

Odds will come out later this week or early next week.

Promote action on both Duels by concentrating on these things:

1. Odds will be fair in both Duels

Odds should be fair in both Duels. It won’t matter which drivers are in Duel 1 and which drivers are in Duel 2.

The way NASCAR decides who rides in Duel 1 as opposed to Duel 2 is through car number.

  • Evens race in Duel 1.
  • Odds race in Duel 2.

Since both pole sitters don’t drive in either Duel, odds will be fair on the drivers who do race.

2. Drivers will give it their all

You must finish at the top of either Duel to garner a good starting position in the Daytona 500.

Drivers will put forth their best efforts.

3. Betting on the Duel winners can add profit before the Daytona 500

Why not try and make a few bucks before the big race on Sunday? Since odds will be good on every driver in both Duels, players can pocket big bucks before Sunday’s race.

Pay per head agents can also set up Gander RV Duel promotions. Why not promote a Thursday parlay that includes a couple of NBA games along with both Gander RV Duels?

A parlay like that will gain interest while introducing players to NASCAR.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
