The Chiefs So Far in 2018

From NFL.com: "Superlatives are thrown around far too often in the NFL, especially with quarterbacks, but how can anyone not be amazed at Patrick Mahomes' performance Monday night? This wasn't a Tecmo Super Bowl outing, where Mahomes and friends posted crazy numbers. Nope, instead this was a hard-fought AFC West showdown, with the Broncos' defense being the first unit to get its second viewing of the league's newest phenom. Perhaps something of a second helping early on, until Mahomes showcased his unbelievable pocket awareness and ability to launch on the run, from any angle. Credit the K.C. defense, which engineered a few clutch plays of its own. Allen Bailey railroaded Case Keenum's third-and-10 scamper to the edge on Denver's second-to-last drive. Wow."

The Chiefs 2018-2019 Odds

-400 to win the AFC West is costly but 10-1 to win the 2019 Super Bowl has some good value so you want to lock this price in right now.

The Jaguars-Chiefs Trends and Predictions

The Chiefs have allowed opposing offenses to score nearly half of their drives while surrendering the league’s third worst 6.7 yards per play.

Leonard Fournette is not expected to play for Jacksonville as he has aggravated a hamstring injury.

This shouldn’t be a problem for Jaguars starting quarterback Blake Bortles as he has averaged 287.8 passing yards, 1.8 passing touchdowns, 8.69 yards per attempt and 24.85 fantasy points per game in the five he’s played without Fournette.

Against AFC South division opponents, the UNDER has occurred in five of six games for the Chiefs over the past three seasons.

The Jaguars would appear to have the edge here even with the NFL Betting Power Ratings indicating the line should be KC -4.
